The Real Club de Golf de Cerdanya with its magnificent 18 hole course was inagurated by the king Alfonso XIII in 1929. The golf course is located just outside Puigcerda at Bolvir. Set amid typical Pyrenees forests and encircled by spectacular mountain peaks, it has been the site of many international championships. Long and straight fairways alternate with twisty and winding holes, often with hills and elevated tees or greens making one’s shots very testing.But the real challenges are mainly in the course’s sloping lies, enormous trees, twisty fairways and ravines. From the sun terrace of the newly built first class Hotel and Clubhouse, you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the course’s last two holes with the nearby Pyrenees tops in the background.
